Avatar and animation acts

Who it's for. You draw the NPC in Web or Roblox. Cosmetics are not the trained brain.

What you'll do. Apply equipped SKU / avatar_style at spawn, then play clips by priority: game events, Hub overlay, locomotion, idle.

Cosmetics and clips are not the brain. The MLP outputs move / jump / fire. The game draws the body and runs an AnimationDirector.

Apply look at spawn

  1. Read session or play-config: equipped character / skin / anim SKUs plus Roblox description ids or wardrobe_id. Fallback: avatar_style (my_avatar, classic_male, classic_female, robot).
  2. Roblox: Clone wardrobe or ApplyDescription; cache the NPC template. Web: load GLB/skin on the canonical rig. Do not HttpService-download a Hub FBX as a Humanoid.
  3. If a clip or id fails, fall back to GymFx / default gait. Do not stall spawn.
  4. Never put sku_id into observations or policy_steps.

Roblox vs web today

Campus Roblox uses R15 from the owner’s userId plus style tint, and GymFx catalog walk/jump/fall. Web tsunami uses cartoon LeaderAvatar and resolveGait (jog, panic, lip, air). Hub-managed catalog SKUs add JSON ids on top of that; binaries stay on Roblox CDN or in the place wardrobe, and GLB on a web CDN for catalog/web play only.
